Aurora's Harvest
For Aurora’s Harvest, a complete brand identity, art direction, and custom website were developed to launch this family-led wellness brand rooted in the healing power of sea buckthorn. Grown on their farm in Stouffville, Ontario, Aurora’s Harvest connects local agriculture with modern wellness, offering vibrant, nutrient-dense sea buckthorn to support immunity, skin health, and overall vitality.
The visual identity was designed to feel bright and modern, with a hint of heritage in the serif logo — reflecting the farm’s natural roots while positioning the brand for collaborations with wellness spaces and product makers through wholesale. The modern, minimal logo and earthy colour palette bring a taste of the berry and land to the brand’s online presence and beyond.

Visual Identity + Art Direction
Visual Identity + Design
Every project I take on begins with a questionnaire—designed less like a form, and more like a journal prompt. It invites reflection from the owner, creating space to uncover their deeper intentions. My goal is to get to know the vision intimately, while also helping the creator gain clarity on what they’re truly building.
For Aurora’s Harvest, the intention was rooted in legacy and growth. The goal was to give their family farm legs — to take what had been lovingly grown for years and shape it into something that could move beyond the field.
The vision was clear: to position the farm for wholesale and collaboration, sharing this powerful superfood with wellness practitioners, food makers, and anyone looking to stock their pantries with purpose. To bring that vision to life visually, we partnered with photographer Kelsey Vansickle to capture the heart of the brand through styled farm photography.
The imagery blends rustic textures, soft warm light, and casual family moments, from harvesting the berries by hand to preparing simple, nourishing recipes. The result is a library of visuals that feel grounded, intimate, and aligned with the brand’s focus on wellness, nourishment, and connection to the land.

The Berry That Does It All —
More than just a berry, sea buckthorn is a nutrient-dense powerhouse — rich in over 190 bioactive compounds, including vitamins C and E, omega fatty acids, and antioxidants — making it a natural ally for supporting skin health, immunity, energy, and overall vitality.
Its reputation as a healing plant dates back to ancient Greece, where its leaves were fed to horses to promote strength and a radiant, glossy coat. In fact, its Latin name, Hippophae, translates to “shiny horse” — a symbol of resilience and vitality that continues to inspire the spirit of Aurora’s Harvest today.
